Porsche 911 GT3 could soon go

Following a trend started by Ferrari, soon to be bought into by Lamborghini, it seems like Porsche are about to do something enthusiasts don’t approve of.

More and more reports are coming in about how Porsche would start leaning towards selling its cars with automatic gearboxes as the only option.

Honda CR-Z Coming to Super GT

It's shaping up to be a very interesting year for Japan's Super GT series. In addition to the GT300 class Toyota Prius and Subaru BRZ cars that have already been shown, Honda will also be jumping into the fray with a new CR-Z GT300 entry. Team Mugen is planning to debut the car by the middle of the 2012 season, and word has it the GT300 CR-Z will be running a racing type hybrid powertrain.
We'll certainly be interested to see how this plays out.

Infiniti Emerg-E Concept

It wasn't teasing much though. All it was showing was a snap of what seemed to be a C-Pillar.

Well, that all changed today as 3D visualizations made their way onto the web. Most publications are claiming that this is the whole banana of the Emerg-e Concept that's set to appear in Geneva.

Billed as an extended-range electric hybrid -- THINK: Chevrolet Volt --, the Emerg-e is rumored to boast a small capacity motor to take over as the electric range goes kaput. In all honesty, that doesn't sound too bad in my eyes. I already think the Volt is the best practical implementation of electric tech so if this is the case with the Emerg-e that's already a thumbs up.
